Swiss SMEs import from China nearly four times more than they export to it - CHF 10.9 billion in imports versus CHF 2.7 billion in exports in 2024. But what happens if Switzerland’s access to goods from China is limited? The University of St. Gallen and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons in collaboration with Switzerland Global Enterprise are looking to set up a research project aiming to identify Swiss dependencies and create improved value chains with and for companies affected by China's export controls.
